Filly
15 hands, 2 years old
Owned by Meg McTiver of Johnstown, OH
Meg rescued Treble at only two weeks old in 2016. She describes her as a “total diva” who is a complete mama’s girl. “It warms my heart that you can tell she likes me,” Meg said. “Treble has a presence you can’t miss! With her dark coat and chrome and that extra pizzazz in her movement you can’t help but stop and stare.”
Unlike a lot of mares, Meg said she doesn’t think Treble knows how to pin her ears back and always has a happy expression. She especially notes her charisma and her work ethic.
Treble recently placed fifth at the USEF Horse of Year Zone 5 in Hunter Breeding Yearling. She was also Reserve Champion in Brave Horse Year End Hunter Breeding and earned Supreme status at her recent AWSSR inspection – one of very few that exist in the society.
Going forward, Meg said Treble is showing promise as a dressage horse, but she hopes she will also develop into a jumper in the future.
Being a part of AWSSR is important to Meg. “Owning an American Warmblood means my rescue filly has the potential opportunity to compete in the USEF Young Horse classes,” she said. “It provides her with the opportunity to show what she can do. It’s about recognizing a quality horse and placing that horse into a position to be viewed as such.”
Meg said she is proud to be a member of AWSSR. “It allows me to find opportunities for her to continue to grow and develop. It is a community of people who love and appreciate talented horses for exactly what they are. It provides us with goals to try and achieve as a team and in turn deepen our bond. It allows me to help my girl shine.”
Meg said she is “over the moon proud” of Treble for earning Gold and Supreme status at her recent AWSSR inspection. “She is really turning into something special and I can’t wait for our future together and see what a fancy horse she turns into,” she said.
